The WICAC is a non profit charity organization dedicated to providing an annual donation to our other chosen charities such as The Canadian Cancer Society, NOVA West Island, and the West Island Palliative Care Center through charity events.
Paula Judith Hassani (Castleton)
January 22, 1951 - February 1st, 2010
Paula passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 1st, 2010. She was at home and surrounded by her loving family. Paula had a brief, but valiant battle with cancer, but the courage and strength of character she exhibited throughout her ordeal will forever be a testament to her vibrant spirit.
Paula had a warm and generous nature and a great sense of humor. She made many deep and lasting friendships. She leaves behind her devoted husband Ferri (Faramarz ), son (Rostyn), daughter (Parisa), father (Michael) and sister (Kathryn), as well as countless friends in Canada and England, who all love her so very much. We will never forget you, our dearest, one and only Paula.
Visitation
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 10th 2010 from 1:30 to 2:30p.m., followed by a Service from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and a Reception from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at:

A generous donation!One of WICAC's dear friends, Mr. Steven Arless, last December donated $1400 to our cause. Steve raised this amount last summer on a sponsored bicycle trek across the Canadian Rockies. Over a period of two weeks, Steve braved wind, mountains, and even snow to cycle the northern route from Vancouver to Calgary.
